Fostoria Learning Center
Fostoria Learning Center was built out of an existing empty retail store with a total of 34,000 square feet. This building is constructed of masonry walls, steel bar joist, steel decking, and EPDM rubber roofing. The building was built in 1951 then added onto twice throughout the years. Clouse Construction Corp. was hired as construction manager and participated in the design as well as recommendations for which prime contractors to hire giving special attention to ABC members. In addition to being the construction manager, Clouse Construction Corp. performed the site/civil work, the framing, drywall, interior painting, and flooring packages which is 20% of the project total. There were eight prime contracts and six were awarded to ABC members.
